An alternative recipe to enjoy panettone
Thinking about the sweets to eat on Christmas day, you immediately think about panettone and pandoro, which have always been part of the Italian tradition.
It seems that the Panettone it has been part of the Italian tradition since 1400 and is said to have been created just for a Christmas lunch. According to one of the stories that accompanies the panettone, the cook in the service of Ludovico il Moro was commissioned to prepare a Christmas lunch, but he forgot the cake in the oven which charred. Instead of eating the panettone as we bought it, let's try an easy innovative recipe. This time for Christmas we prepare the apple and panettone pudding! Get ready to revolutionize this typical Christmas cake into something new.
This easy recipe can be prepared in under an hour and it is a great way to taste something new or even to reuse the leftover panettone, because nothing is thrown away!
- 300 gr Panettone
- 5 eggs
- 1 lemon
- butter as required
- powdered sugar as required
- 100 grams of sugar
- 2 apples
- 6,5 dl of whole milk
- rum as required
Making this recipe is very easy. After having obtained all the ingredients, grease a baking dish and then cut the panettone into slices and then place them in the freshly buttered baking dish. Sprinkle the slices of Panettone with rum, to wet them just enough.
Now put the milk, eggs and sugar in a blender and blend everything, creating a mixture. When everything is well blended and blended, grate the lemon zest and add to the smoothie.
After doing this you need to peel the apples and cut them into slices. After slicing the apples, you need to arrange the slices on top of those of Panettone in the pan.At this point, pour the milk mixture that we have prepared evenly into the pan.
Now we need to bake. The oven should be set at 170 ° C and after putting the pan with our preparation in the oven, let it cook for about 25-30 minutes.
